The Old Orchard Gallery

Supporting Community Arts

The Old Orchard Gallery and Pacific Place, are pleased to have been sponsors and volunteers for the 2013 Art&Air event as it celebrated its tenth anniversary. Pacific Place and The Old Orchard Gallery are very committed to the arts, and to the interaction of people in urban places.  The Old Orchard Business District is our campus and Webster Groves is our community.  We could not be prouder of the creativity, energy and commitment that is so frequently exhibited by the residents, businesses and institutions that surround us.  A special thanks to Eden Seminary for sharing their property, buildings and staff with the Webster Community Arts Foundation.  Their generosity reaches a level that most of us cannot attain.
ART AFTER DARK included a historic 60’ light beam boasting 800,000,000 candle power, with a place in the history of St. Louis and its 1904 World’s Fair.   It reached 6 miles into the sky and also illuminated the peak of the Eden Tower.  Arts in Motion dazzled the crowd with several dance numbers while creatively illuminated in fiber optic wire.  Kids and adults enjoyed our large illuminated light sticks, that changed colors to sound and music.  First National Bank of St. Louis, the finest financial institution inSt. Louis, joined our festivities by sponsoring over 200 glow sticks for the public as they became part of the show.
