Artist’s Gallery

Old Orchard GalleryThe Old Orchard Gallery in Webster Groves is assembling a dynamic group of local artists who will have representations of their work on our on-line Gallery.  There is a nice diversity in the work represented in our Gallery and we hope you will return often to see the new works and images created by this talented group.  You will find Ben Guffee, soft pastels by Michele Wells, colorful digital images by John Ahearn, Peggy Wyman’s creative use of fiber in her art works, and photography by David Sanders.the Old Orchard Gallery  The artists we represent here have all exhibited their work in the Old Orchard Gallery and are often involved in art related events in Webster Groves.  Jaye Greggory is a very tallented scupture and teacher, JD Dehne is a multi-talented artist with one-of-a-kind jewelry, fiber art, intricate cut paper compositions and forms, and ceramics. Scott Petty is a joy to watch as he skillfully builds his canvas with subjects that bring out new emotions.  The work of Marty Coulter effortlessly captures the scenes and adventures of Missouri, and Marilynne Bradley has drawn and painted more places than most of us can remember, finding the time to train new artists, and support everything that furthers the arts in her community.  St. Louis Fine Arts are taken to a new level with this collection of art work.  Please visit the Artist’s Gallery on this site often.

WATERSHED Movie in the Gallery

March 1st, 2013 @ 6:30pm

Executive Produced and Narrated by Robert Redford and Directed by award-winning filmmaker, Mark Decena, WATERSHED tells the story of the threats to the once-mighty Colorado River and offers solutions for the future of the American West.

Can we meet the needs of a growing population in the face of rising temperatures and lower rainfall in an already arid land? Can we find harmony amongst the competing interests of cities, agriculture, industry, recreation, wildlife, and indigenous communities with rights to the water?

In WATERSHED, we meet Jeff Ehlert, a fly fishing guide in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado rancher Dan James, Delta restoration worker Edith Santiago, Navajo Council member Glojean Todacheene, Rifle Colorado Mayor Keith Lambert, Los Angeles native Jimmy Lizama and a group of Outward Bound teens rafting down the Colorado River as they all reflect a compelling new water ethic—one that illuminates how letting go of the ways of old can lead to a path of coexisting with enough for all.
