Gallery Events and Reservations Have Begun

The Old Orchard Gallery was created for residents,
businesses, and artists of Webster Groves. A convenient
place in the Old Orchard Business District to schedule
exhibits, private parties, and private dining at very
reasonable rates. Reservations for exhibits and for
private parties have started to come in as people are
becoming aware of the space and seeing how pleasant
and convenient the Gallery can be. The Gallery opened
with an exhibit entitled History and Memorable Moments
in Webster, it was a part of the 2008 Webster Art
Walk, and housed a recent Photo Exhibit, put on by
the Students of Nerinx Hall.

The Big Sky Cafe has begun serving private parties
within the Gallery and we are looking forward to Spring
when the festivities can spill out onto our very private
Wine Garden.

The Rental Rates for the Gallery are based on $100
per day and $75 per half day. Longer reservations
for exhibits will be based on a reduction of the daily
rate and Not-For-Profit Organizations will receive a
reduced rate. The Gallery capacity varies, based on
the type of event and the seating arrangements desired.
Forty people can comfortably sit down to eat in a cafe
style arrangement, and sixty to seventy will work
for stand up social type events.

Please contact one of us at the Gallery for more
information or to explore exhibit ideas.

Love and Protect

The Old Orchard Gallery hosted a sneak peak of some works to be found at Art&Air 2009, from May 17th-June 3rd. On the evening of June 3rd, approximately 70 people gathered to honor the generous donors and supporters that help make Art&Air possible. Mayor Gerry Welch gave recognition to the type of special individuals we have in Webster Groves, and the remarkable things that are accomplished through strong individual and group support. Big Sky Cafe served food and drinks, Wichman's Florist provided the gorgeous arrangement, and Eden Seminary was recognized for providing the park-like setting that has been home to Art&Air.
